Wrapper color is not the best indicator unless you are looking at connie - maduro difference ;) If length is way off, I would wonder (* you did say that length is not off). Band looks ok to me. I'm surprised that you got rid of the box so quickly. Normally folks keep their CC boxes for aging, code record, legitimacy in case you want to resale / trade. Bad taste / bad burn could be associated to freshness or poorly rolled batch, not necessarily fake cigar. Since you bought a box, I would dissect, not wait another month to "age."

I'm starting to question this source. I have had numerous boxes come in, and been fine, but my last purchase of cohibas robusto's I found really questionable. Box was good, but we all know it comes opened for 'quality assurance'.

A few of the bands were on a little crooked, but most importantly they did not taste like a CoRo. Tasted like a Dominican cigar. It's been a few months now, and I'm half way through the box and nothing has changed. Not even close to that rich flavor you normally get from any cohiba.

I'm pretty sure they were a 2010 box, but would have to check when I get home.

Okay, PM's were exchanged and I think this thread should be done. Getting a little too specific...
