OK, so I can be a little slow...I'm sure this cigar has been discussed but I couldn't find it.
This cigar has me intriqued but I tend to balk at the Pepin blends as most of them don't suit my pallet. Have any of you tried this blend and what is your take on it. My local is not getting these so I may have to look on line but I'm hesitant.:scratchhe

I reviewed it (briefly) last week.

I've had the Belicoso and agree with previous posters that this is a tremendous smoke. Certainly his best blend so far and these are very reasonably priced. Not nearly as spicy and intense as the original My Father, these are very smooth with lots of flavor and the strength has been dialed down a notch or two.

I smoked a robusto in May that was amazing.... It was my best cigar
this year so far! Last night I smoked a petit robusto and had to put it
down 2/3's of the way through the ash lasted for 2.5 inches, but the
nicotine content almost knocked me off my feet! I went inside, got a
glass of ice water, and then hopped in the shower.... It was very
peppery also... Nothing like the first one I smoked, but still enjoyable.

I wasn't looking for strength last night, but I sure got it! *SMH*

Tom, trust me brotha... Get you some!

I finely did try one of these in a robosto size. Sorry but again just wasn't in my flavor zone. To me it smoked like a Partaga. To be fare, I will have to revisit this cigar again as judging from just one can be a bad mistake.

I just finished another this moring (toro) one of my favorites.

Even the wife asked what I was smoking when she came out on the front porch with her coffee before work and said she really liked the smell of it. I nearly fell off the rocker. That is the 3rd or 4th time in all the years she said she really liked the smell of a cigar.
