With all the great cigars coming out of Nicaragua over the past few years, I really haven't bought or smoked any Havanas for quite some time.
While putting together some aged CC's for a trade with JDog, I found a box of JL #1's from '06....They looked awfully tasty :stretchgr:
I decided to toast one after finishing up the yard work today, and was pleasantly surprised....
Graham crackers, earth, and a touch of pepper all combining to create a great flavor profile. If memory serves, the #2's are a bit stronger, but this was a nice light to medium smoke that was really nice.

Kinda forgot how delicate the Cuban wrappers are, and I sorta destroyed the cap while clipping....DOH! :disappoin
However, it ddin't unravel, and burned nicely...Did go out a couple times, but the overall construction was good.

Nice smoke!

No fancy bands, no knock you on your feet flavors. Just a old reliable cc that has clean cuban tobacco flavors with some spice and leather. I wish I would of bought these a few years sooner and at least a couple boxes a year. The 2 08s I have will have to do for now.

Never had one, but I did get some #2s recently. Plan to burn one soon :)
Many people prefer the #2 to the #1, so enjoy! I personally love the size of the #1 so I haven't bothered trying a #2.
