Not trying to top you at all, but I once saw a guy who was mentally ill walk in front of a semi truck on the Hwy.

I had four hours drive from Detroit to Traverse City to think about that one.

I know how it feels. At the same time I can only imagine what it must be like for our troops past and present.

I wrote a post but deleted it, but it did reflect your sentiment.

It's weird how we see life in front of us all the time but we seem to be saved from witnessing death.
I would like to have seen your post,,,usually your first reaction is pure truth but I like what you said here afterwards. We as a rule do not like "seeing death" but it does give you a very close and personal reminder of what life is. I have seen it up close and it stops you in your thoughts and makes you focus on what is important in life ( usually ) and it should impact us all to make necessary changes in our lives. That is why it affects us,,,,it should because we're not here in this life to make money and be strangers to each other,,,there is a higher purpose and a hope for each of us. I'd hate to think we're here like a bunch of lizards and monkeys with no purpose but to eat, sleep, and work.
