KFC Pig?

No your not. I thought the Leccia was rather flat. It would be the first Pig that I would want to try. Not a fan of the #9 but love the KFC. But then again I love a good German Rauchbier or Smoked porter. Liquid bacon. Now add some fire cure to a Rat, just a little to add some back ground notes and label it a Smokin' Rat. Now we're talking.
I thought the Leccia was a bit flat too. I got the fire cured taste on the cold draw and when I first lit it up but the taste quickly dissipates. I feel the KFC flavor stays throughout much of the cigar, at least in the Chunky and Just a Friend sizes.

I agree id love to see more availability of the Unicos, especially the dirty rat an L40. Two of my favorite NCs! But putting out the very limited number if LEs can't honestly affect the overall availability of the regular stuff by much. With the limited production and quantity, they're just not using that much material. So it's not like they're reducing their regular production capacity much by releasing LEs like this, ad it can't be a money grab as the MSRP on these releases tends to be right in line with other Unicos... it's just DE making some rare sticks that will keep folks hunting for DE stuff, talking and asking their local B&Ms about DE product, and increasing brand awareness. Honestly it's a smart move.
That being said I have no interest in this particular stick. Would love to see a No 9 Petit Corona or Lonsdale or even a lance, but honestly the 50rg is a great size for the blend and if we're wishing for stuff , I'd personally rather see them work towards a regular release of the Velvet seat and/or the Ratzilla.
Not the Biggest fan of the KFC. Love all of the Unico's though. Like many have said, I wish they were more easily available. Would love to see Pigs in other blend such as Dirty rats and uf-13. I am a fan of the shape and burn of the pigs. Love the Feral. Just think that size and shape is fun to smoke

for the record as good as the ffp blend is i think the shape sucks.

The pigs are pretty gimmicky...but I am a sucker for them. But when it comes down to it I do prefer the uc beli, #9 beli, and t52 toro vitolas compared to the pigs, dont really have anything to compare the ffp to but they are tasty in their own right. Have yet to try a kfc but wont chase the pigs if limited...

This thread is proof that DE is doing good things. They have solid regular production and have a little niche with the Unicos. Sure, they don't produce enough Unicos to satisfy everyone, but it is what it is. They offer a ton of regular production and some limited production stuff. I would imagine they like keeping it limited to keep the demand up while focusing more so on the everyday stuff.
More recently, I have seen a steady flow of #9 in all sizes and some T52, it's really funny because when those weren't as steadily available many were wanting more of those. Now that they are, many want the Unicos.
Hard to please everyone I suppose, just be glad they are making some great stuff with a huge demand.
