Labeling Cigars

Since placing a label on the cigar can potentially pose a hazard to the wrapper, I prefer this method....

I place loose cigars inside in clear glass test tubes filled with a mixture of water (distilled, of course..) and diswashing soap. I somtimes add a teaspoon of vieagar if the cigar is something valuable like a Swisher Sweet.

I then place a label on the outside of the tube, so as not to harm the wrapper in any way.....

For anything in cello I just use post it roll up labels. Super easy and cheap.

Can anyone confirm that the adhesive is only on a portion of the band and not the entire thing? Just want to be sure that the label sticks only to itself and not the cigar.
Maybe a stupid question, but the site didn't specify that, lol.

It's just a portion. I recently just bought some of those bands and they are the ones that are on some of the cigars I sent you in the non-newbie blind trade, so you can check those to see if you like them. The only thing I can complain about them is that on a couple of my cigars they have fallen off due to the adhesive not not lasting. I easily get around this by using a small piece of tape, but it has only happened on a couple so far.

Just got my batch of the billboard cigar labels. They look pretty sharp and the label maker is easy to use. Access to the label maker is has a limit though, which is a big foul up, IMO. After 3 month from when I activated it, I will have to buy either more labels or the rights to use the label maker again. Looks like I have to go through 800 lables in 3 months... sigh.
