Lancero XI: BLTC Morphine

I bought this months and months ago specifically to enjoy for Lancero February. I've never had anything from Black Label before. Cigar was super firm. After cutting the draw seemed way too tight. Lit it and couldn't get a draw. Plugged!

Lancero XII: Jericho Hill 12 Honest Men

Spicy and rich coffee flavors. I wish it was a little more complex. It was good and I like Jericho Hill, I just think this blend works better in a robusto.

Yeah, I don't have a poker though. I tried massaging it and no luck. I'm dry boxing it in my old desktop right now on the slim chance a lower humidity will open it up some. If all else fails, I'll see if I have some thick gauge wire and go to town on it.

I've tried the herrea esteli and Jericho hill but not too many others..

I'd be very hesitant to dry box after it's been lit. Probably won't ever get the smell out.

Oliva v seems to be a staple to most lancero smokers. I'd say try one of the ninfamaniacs, preferably the dark. Tat black petite lance is also very very good.

If you live in Houston, try and hit up Stogies World Class Cigars. The did a bunch of 'H-Town' exclusives from a variety of brands this year all in the Lancero size. Plus you'd get to try something that may not be on their shelves much longer. A few notables include Tatuaje, Illusione and La Palina. Those were the three I enjoyed the most.
