I am really really really at a point where I think I need to open a shop. I have the perfect location (lots of $$ and smokers) but just no balls. I know I would do well, just can't get up the nerve to attempt it. I have been told by quite a few rep's that my location would be a home run.

Quick threadjack here. Hendy, I'm sure you've heard lots of people talk about the key to being successful and happy in your work. "Take something you truly love to do, and find a way to get paid for doing it". 20 years or so ago, I dumped a partnership in a large law firm, to open up my own shop with exactly zero clients. I have never looked back or regretted that decision for a second.
Make sure you have enough $$ put aside so you can survive for six months or so. Once you have done that, there is only one thing left: Pull the trigger, my brother.
There's some fancy poem I read a long time ago that ended with a phrase that says "the saddest words are these: it might have been". You don't want to be thinking that on your deathbed.

Dude, I would do absolutely anything I could to help you succeed if you opened a shop. My ultimate goal is to either buy the shop I currently work at, or like you, say WTF and start a new one. Problem is that there are not a lot of good locations around here anymore. Anyway, back to the point, if I can be of any assitance to you please let me know, even if it is having someone to bounce ideas off of.
Dreams aren't imagined they're realized, but not before you dot all the I's and cross all the T's. Being a entrepreneur has it's rewards for sure and it's the perfect business to relieve the stress associated with wearing all the hats. Know this though if you're really serious. May I say in the immortals words of Saturday Night Live Arnold Swarzenegger.
