Personally, I am a huge fan of Fuente Hemingways (particularly the Best Seller) but I don't know what your budget is. Also, the San Cristobal Revelation is really nice, too. That's more toward the medium+ side but I found it to be smooth.

Or you can go with a 5Vegas Gold.
Fuente fan huh? …..you started this not me...

You're first box will be memorable, make it a good one. In the meantime, singles and samplers here and there are a great way to go. I am still figuring out what I like (not that that has stopped me from buying 5-, 10-packs, and the occasional box).

Do you have a B&M near you?

I have one of these 48 liter I think??.
and inside I have some tupper ware working as trays.
Do you keep Boveda packs in each tuper ware as well or just the ones in the cooler?

That's how I've been starting out, just a bunch of singles to figure out what I like. Just started out on sampler packs lately.

I keep one larger Boveda in each Tupperware. I had some beads but my hydrometer stopped working so I pulled them
Out. I haven't gotten a new one yet. The bovedas are just to get me by till I do.

Anything special I should do to my new tupperware I bought before I start storing my cigars? Just picked up this 5.2 L for $8 and figured it should hold me over till my next cigar purchase.
1. wash it with some lite dishwasher soap and rinse thoroughly. Let it air out for a day or two.
2. Depending on what size it is if you can fit an empty box in there or line it with some cedar sheets that come in cigar boxes
3. If you put a box in it. While still without cigars put a glass with a sponge (new, unscented) filled with distilled water for a couple days so the box gets humidified.
4. Remove water, place cigars in empty box and add 1 to 2 boveda packs. Usually 1 will work in a small tupper like that.
5. Add hygrometer. and your all set.

Here are some pics of mine

Thank you for the info, I have boveda packs and a hydrometer coming. I just need to track down cedar now, will regular cedar work that you can buy at home Depot or should I try a cigar shop?

DO NOT USE REGULAR CEDAR!!
Spanish Cedar is more closely related to mahogany. Go to your local cigar shop. Some will give you one or two empty boxes, others will sell them to you for $1 to $3 each
