I have 2 boxes of Dirty Rats and a box of T52 Pigs in the humi. They're dwindling down tho...

Plenty of No.9 at the local shop nearby in Arlington, VA.

All 3 of the #9's I smoked recently (or attempted to) have all unraveled. This was not from cutting too much of the cap off. When I looked at the wrapper, there was absolutely no pectin glue on it anywhere. I sent JD a message via facebook and have gotten no reply back at all and it's been 4 days. I supposed I can always give my money another company going foward.

Wow....that sucks. I haven't smoked more than 9 or 10 of them myself, but they all burned perfect and were fantastic smokes. Maybe a silly question, but are you sure your humi is squared away? Most of the smokes I've had unravel like that on me were due to humidity troubles.

Yup....they're the only cigars that have done that and when I inspected the wrappers there was not a trace of glue anywhere, especialy near the head like there should be.

I should have said "recently" as I've had the 9s before and they were good smokes. But the last 3 I picked up had issues. I'm more upset at the lack of response from JD than the cigars at this point. Oh well....maybe they slipped through QA but it would nice to be told that instead of not replying back to me.

Hello guys.

Here at Robbie Mortons store in Pensacola, Cordova Cigars. We just came back from a very nice lunch with Marvin Holthouser at Harbor Cigars in Destin and I found this thread.

The photos are awesome, and I too seriously prefer the T52 to No.9 any day of the week (except Monday ..hahahah). Anyway, thanks so much for the kind words.

The EVP - I am sorry that I did not get your FB message, but I have been checking it every day and just right this very second went back to look for it - going back to the last day of May - and it simply is not there. Maybe you sent it to Drew Estate FB page. Moreover, I checked my email, of which I own only one, drewnica@yahoo.com and nothing there either. But this is not the main point, as it may have got lost in cyberspace or whatever. It would be my pleasure to switch them out for you, and if you have already smoked them and thrown them away, I will still send you a 5 pack to make up for it - no problem at all. However, it would be great if you still had one for us to diagnose. It is pretty much impossible to roll a cigar with no glue, but maybe it was thin by some weird chance or something weird. Please reach out to me on my email so I can handle it promptly and correctly. At DE, we value each and every customer we have, and always remember that premium cigars are a hand made product that can have weird quirks.

Thanks again.
JD
