Lime-a-ritas?

I went to a release party for work last night at Eagle Distributing... They made us try these along with the Arnold Palmer Mich Ultra and about 20 other "Gimmick" drinks. Probably the worst of them all was the Copa Di Vino wine by the glass. Same stuff that was shown on Shark Tank.

I'm sure Sun Drop or whatever the OP mentioned in the same as Squirt. Lot's of other citrus flavored sodas out there. I've also used Limeade from concentrate for ritas before, but you gotta watch out as sometimes that can wind up a little too tart...and why the agava nectar comes in handy! Hell, i'll try most anything to avoid using the pre-made Margarita mix. I've never found one that i've cared all that much for. Never seems to be anything different to try either, so I stick w/ making my own. I prefer it that way anyways.

Actually, I made a [real] margarita with Mezcal the other day. It wasn't bad but the smokey flavor was a bit too much and offset the lime flavor. I have a recipe for a good Habanero Margarita though and I am going to use Mezcal in place of tequila and see how the smokiness does with the roasted pepper.Just put real tequila in the bar if I ever come over....
