In the past few months I've become quite the cigar lover, to this day I don't think I've had one that I wanted to put down. The closest I've come was a Nica Libre that I got from a CI sampler.. I still enjoyed it, however.
Anyway, none of my friends are really into smoking cigars, which presents a problem. I consider smoking a cigar to be a social thing and would like to do so in good company. One of my friends is willing to give this whole cigar thing a shot, but he hasn't liked anything I've given to him so far.

I was wondering if you guys could recommend some of your favorite mild cigars, maybe even infused?
I've never tried an Acid, but from what I've read, they have different flavors that might make it easier for a new person to enjoy.

Any thoughts?

More info would get you better results. First thing to remember is not everyone will like smoking cigars that said.
what cigars has he tried? and what didn't he like about them? was it flavor, strength, size?

I recommend the Perdomo Champagne for a good mild smoke.

Perhaps a Cu Avana Pvnisher? I'm kidding. I agree with Postal. And infused cigars are a whole diff animal. Not a lot of people like them here, but that doesn't mean that you won't. Perdomo lot 23 is a mild one. For me anyway.

He said and I quote.. I woke up the next morning feeling like I sucked on a tail pipe. LOL!
The cigars he's had so far, from me, were: RYJ No2, Monte No4 and H. Uppmann vintage cameroon.

He wants to smoke cigars, I'm certainly not forcing him.. maybe just pressuring him a bit.

well brush your teeth before you go to bed and it will solve the tailpipe problem. As for the cigars were those the NC versions? time to stop giving him Altadis and General Cigar stuff. your best bets would probably be A.Fuente, Padron, Perdomo, also el triumfador and la riqueza would be good bets.

Ashton cabinet series. Honestly guys, some of those cigars aren't even mild cigars.

And I've woke up plenty of mornings with a stale cigar taste in my mouth, after brushing teeth and mouth washing the night before. It's really just a downside of the hobby, IMO.

Does your buddy drink at all? Remind him how shitty a hangover can be, and ask him if that stops him from drinking. :)

OK, when I first started smoking I walked into the local B&M. Ok, not really it was the cigar store in the mall. I had no idea of what to smoke. The guy asked what 'flavors" I liked. I'm not talking about some Acid stuff, yes, regular cigars have flavors :) I did try a JAVA, it was ok. It was the only one I smoked and moved along quickly. I would recommend an EPC New wave. Or just find you local B&M and they should be able to guide you, that is unless it is just some young kid that does not really know much about cigars.

I found that eating after a cigar or eating before you go to bed THEN brushing really helps that out, but for sure eating gets that post cigar breath taste out of your palate. Montecristo White is a good beg. cigar as well as Romeo y Julieta vintage. Good luck!

I've been smoking the schitt out of these lately...not everybody likes them but I think they are pretty darn good. I also have been enjoying the EP Carrillo New Wave Connies a lot. I bought a fiver of Oliva Connies and I'm looking forward to trying one of those this weekend. I just recently started to get back into connies for a good breakfast smoke.
