I had a Lost City Lancero last night that I have sitting for 4 months. First 2/3's were great and then it got a bit harsh with some bitterness and it was hard to keep lit?? I threw it over the fence at that point. Coulda just been the cigar???

The lancero is actually just a normal opus x cigar with young tobacco in it. It doesn't contain the lost city tobacco from 2004. It's kind of confusing because they say lost city but it's not the same as the others. Same deal with the lost city Love affair. Those both don not contain lost city tobacco.

i totally agree. I think the only way to get the lancero or the love affair lost cities is in the special edition lost city humidor. which is like $2000. A lot of stores just opened up the humidor and sold the singles. I have a couple lost city love affairs someone gifted me. they came from jack schwartz. They were literally like $32 each and they are the EXACT same thing as the regular production love affairs which are like $12. I have smoked both. no difference whatsoever. Complete bull to have to pay almost $20 extra for a second label!
