That's horrible, Josh, I'm sorry about that Bro! Laying someone off 2 weeks before Christmas...that smacks of douchebaggery.
If I still lived in the Cities I could probably come up with an idea, but I'm out of the loop now. My Dad is still there and was laid off last year, but he found something in just a couple weeks. Hopefully you can get something quickly. Just don't forget to go sign up for unemployment and such right away (don't worry, it happens to most of us at some point), and if it happens to last a couple months and you need health insurance, go for "Minnesota Care" which is partially subsidized. My wife and I did that when we were in grad school, it was a very nice help.

I hate this crap. Companies do this in Nov and Dec to take the write off in the current year. It is just cold blooded business and it sucks. Keep your head up dude. Things will work out.

Ill tell you what, I never realized how much of a dump this economy was in until i joined this board and am hearing of you guys all over the US who are losing they're jobs ect. being on this board as an 18 yearold it really makes you learn alot and opens your eyes at how crewl this world can be.
