Picked up a couple of the Southern edition Tuesday and it was a great smoke. Flavors just got better as the cigar progressed - burned my fingers a couple times at the nub was still looking for more. I'll definitely have to try the Northern once I can get my hands on it.

ChipS - Glad you enjoyed MDP MMXV Southern....!

I feel like folks are 'sleepin on' MDP this year...and I firmly believe both--Southern AND Northern--are head and shoulders above last year's MDP...just saying...

Grabbed a couple of the 2015 Southern Editions, brought them home and pulled one from the cello. It seemed really wet or oily and I thought "bet this ones gonna burn like wet turd" so I grabbed another cigar from my humi as a backup. Sat down in my "man cave" and put some flame to the foot of this beauty and it burned to the nub without having to touch it up! I was pleasantly surprised by this. The MD Southern Edition 2015 seems to have a lot in common with the "Snake Oil" that is passed out at the events with an earthy, Davidoffesque ligero single leaf "tobacco cylinder" that is used in their Master Class.
It was so good that I grabbed a few more from the b&m again yesterday. I do believe that this may be box worthy for me.....
