Ok guys, 4 dozen tamales made by my girlfriends secret family recipe in the freezer and two quarts of homemade salsa. May want to bring the Tums. Cigars and hispanic cuisine, does it get any better?

Took the family and stayed in our cabin this weekend. It is very nice and right on the water. Smoked a few cigars while sitting in the swing. It was a good weekend.

This is coming up fast! We need to firm up the food/drinks/etc. Looks like Saturday morning still needs a meal plan.
Stroke, I drink diet sprite & diet coke. I'm not picky though. You still bringing a cot & may'be a blow up mattress? I know there are 4 beds in the cabin. Hoss might want the couch again? :dunno:
Josh, you can cover the charcoal for the weekend?
I'd like to reiterate that the cabin has a mix of pots & pans. If you want to you can bring your own. No guarantee a size of pan or pot you want will be there. Josh can elaborate since he stayed there not long ago.
I need to go through the other thread to figure out what I might be missing. Until then!...

Trying to cover all the bases here because I'll forget.
Update on the boxsplit. The BBF's came in. I guess I never ordered the la Puntas. Those who were in the boxsplit owe me $94. This includes cabin + a 6'er of BBF's. Just let me know what to do with the extra cigar. I say throw it in the poker pot if we have a game going.
Stroke $40 for the cabin.
Check, money order or cash at the Herf will do.

I drink diet also. I prefer Pepsi but I'm cool with coke. Anyone drinking soda that prefers regular? If so, what kind? Thus far, I'll bring some Diet Cokes (Coke and/or Pepsi, but I'll definately bring Coke) and some Diet Sprites.
Still good for the cot and the air mattresses, should have at least two, probably three.

Charcoal is covered. Two skillet type pans, pot for boiling. A couple of cooking sheets. All the dishes, but we will use paper plates and plastic cups. Will need a few centronella candles, this cabin is right on the lake. Thats the best I can remember.
Friday night:
Josh - Deer sausage and homemade tamales.
Note: If sausage is not available, I may cook chicken marsala or crawfish and shrimp alfredo. (yeah I am out , but I know the butchers daughter so I am trying to score some free samples.)
Saturday Morning:
Tim - some yet to be determined breakfast eats
Saturday Noon:
Rod - Burgers and chips??
Saturday Night:
Cliff - I'll be bringing something of the cow variety. Filets & grilled asparagus seemed to be a hit last time. It might be similar.
Sunday Morning:
Stroke - Pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast, juice
Libations:
Cliff - Bottle(s) of bourbon & tequila.
Rod - Bottle of something
Josh - I will bring bourbon, margaritas, and enough miller lite to bust the dam.
Tim - Knob Creek and Havana Club
Coffee, sweets and other:
Rod - Black Dog and coffee pot
Josh - Killer Bean
Cliff - Bringing a kickass cake!! Girl I know is going to make one.
Stroke - Pepsi's and Coke's. Let me know who's interested and if you prefer diet/reg

Just wanted to bring the new totals to the front. Hoss said he could not make it. That brings the total to 5 guys.
Stroke, probably no reason to bring any extra blow up mattresses now.
