There was a link to a video posted on here a month or two back I'll see if I can find it where some folks at a blog interviewed him. One question they asked was about this years monster series. His reply was kinda like a shoulder shrug not that interested not really sure deal. I think he muttered something like .. if we even do it this year. Soooo might really be dead.

I just think this whole thread is funny, as I'm sure Pete does. I think with all the crap Pete has taken with the Monster project, he just throws shit out there to have some fun. I learned last year while our BOTL group was in Nicaragua with him that the fat lady doesn't sing until the fat lady actually sings. It was late April and he told us that he was thinking of not doing the Face and if he was going to do it, he had to decide with Pepin while we were there. He went into a meeting with Pepin while we sat around smoking in the conference room. He later came out and told us "it's done." So of course we all came back saying the Monster series was over. A month or two later, it was official that the Face would be coming out and I asked Pete WTF, you told us in Nica it wasn't going to happen. He said, "I said it was done, as in a done deal. You guys thought I meant it was over and went with it."
Anyways, I just think the whole thing is funny and he's fukn around with ya'll. Just my opinion... at least I won't believe anything until it actually matters.
