I wouldn't mind if my MIL of 33 years moved in. She is one of the best cooks and bakers I have ever known and the house would maintain more of a sparkle since she would clean up the place. Not much wear and tear on the house either. She watches her talk shows and religious shows and then goes to bed. My wife would be happier which means my quality of life improves all around. I think I got lucky with my inlaws.

^That crap only happens on TV......If your wife and MIL argue, you better have a disaster recovery plan in place and have the wife prepped for it. My car and a leisurely ride with a fine cigar, music and coffee, has been my fortress of solitude on many occasions.
