Music and Cigars

I listen to alot of americana and blues when im just chillin smoking a cigar. Nothing beats smoking a cigar, drinking a beer, cruising the creeks, listening to good music, all while watching the sun go down...

Varies with my mood from Ramones/Clash to BB King/SRV to Prince/Parliament to Joni Mitchell/Harry Chapin to Classical - I'm open to 'almost' anything.

I used to listen to Bob Uecker calling the Brewer games but now that he is recouping from heart surgery I've found that the Pixies go great with cigars.

Slow, smooth Delta blues is my favorite type of music to listen to while smoking a cigar. I also sometimes listen to Rat Pack, or other big band/lounge music. Sometimes I listen to jazz, mostly Chet Baker. I also have a small collection of music from Italian film scores of the 60's and 70's, much of it by Ennio Morricone, used in giallo murder mysteries that I love to put on while relaxing with a smoke and a cocktail.


I mostly listen to black metal and hardcore punk otherwise though, just not usually while smoking.

So far a very interesting mix of music. Some stuff I need to check out and listen to. We do not get many stations here away from the big city. I do like a mixture of music though my I Pod from Frank Sinatra to Willie Nelson and Navajo flute and drum music.
