Ha! Let's hope this chicken doesn't go the way of my sister's. She kept a chicken that happened to wander into our yard. After awhile, before it could lay a second set of eggs, a damn raccoon got it. What was a raccoon doing in the middle of Compton? Better yet, What was a damn chicken doing wandering around in the middle of Compton?

Look, I appreciate all the humor in this but, I too grew up on a farm. So I know all about chickens and livestock and my city will not put up with it. On top of that, we have coons and fox in the area. Even if I could have animals of this type, the fear of her waking up to feathers all over the yard would be a emotional mess.
So, in defense of my dear daughters emotions, please don't make me and problems.

Scott...If your serious about the Lizard or reptile thing I can offer you alot of great advice. We've owned reptiles for 20+ years and have a good grasp on do & dont's plus what's better for kids compared to adults. Reptiles are not as easy as some might think however some can make fantastic pets and believe it or not have personalities. I know alot of the breeders here in lower MI and current our once a month reptile and exotics here in K-zoo. Just PM me if you want some imput as I'm more than happy to help you out!
