I have no idea, maybe PM the admins or start a thread asking for help. I am viewing from work and we have Flash and Java turned off. The only thing I can't see are the youtube videos.

I'm at work also and we have a third party software call Websense, which I refer to as WebNONsense. It blocks various sites but would let you know if it was blocking something and I'm not getting that. If I can’t figure it out, I'll PM the admins or start a thread as you suggested.
Thanks,
Rick

We have websense too, but cigars is not blocked since the bosses both smoke, and I keep them abreast of all the current deals.

Great post and description of your set up. I have a very similar Avanti 28 bottle with custom cedar shelves like yours. The hydra should be on the bottom since RH rises and the beads should be in the middle and top to absorb the extra RH. The extra fans might be overkill when your vinotemp should distribute the RH and stir the air enough. You certainly do need more cigar or at the very least add a bunch of empty cigar boxes to help regulate the RH and create a buffer when you open the box. This will help keep RH more stable and get the RH back to normal quicker. Fully loaded you should be able to get around 20 boxes of petite corona size sticks, less if you store larger sticks. Best of luck brother.

Rick,

I was going to mention it as a webmaster dealio on why you can't see the pics. I just returned from Iraq and the LAN NAZI's don't give us access to anything not related to our job. I spent countless hours researching this configuration on this and other cigar forums without the pictures "coming through". Hope you get it situated.

Headbanger,

Nice advice. I'll take you up on it and redo my configuration. Makes sense.

The Vinotemp is on day two of seasoning. The hydra is kicking on a lot less but I can imagine all that cedar inside is just absorbing that moisture. A couple more days and she should be stable. Just in time for my large order from Cigarbid to get in. Bid and won 105 total cigars from them. Mostly cheapos that get better with age from what I've learned on the forums here.

Thanks for all the advice and input.

It is a good idea to prepare for condensation. I have the exact same set up, (I use the cigar oasis xlII, which is identical to yours) and in the summer months, if the temp gets to high, it will rain in my humidor. I had to take out some of the cedar because it was molding. The temp and humidity stayed steady though, 68, 68%.

I love the setup. Now if I could only do what you've done with the fans minus the Hydra. I'm electrically challenged so anything having to do with wiring is a no-go for me. I don't need the active humdification down here in Tampa, but I would love to get some decent fans going in my cooler.

figure i should post some pics of my vinotemps, they are on sale right now at target for $150!

At $150 these are amazing fridge-a-dors.

My setup:
I have 2 small oust fans in each and 2 pounds of heartfelt beads spread around. I am looking into a brewers temperature control unit but the digital temps on the front seem to be very accurate and stay around 67. I have cedar shelves in each and lots of boxes :hysterica
