my problem with hockey and reason i don't watch is all the fights. Not that I'm against the violence but it ruins the flow of the game. Hockey like soccer is a beautiful game to watch the greats play. watched everygame last olympics then i tried watching NHL and got tired of these "enforcers" ruining the flow of the game. just the way Netherlands ruined the world cup final with all the hard fouls

There is a reason for the fighting though. It's not to interrupt the flow of the game and a true enforcer knows the time and the place to drop the gloves. it's about getting your team pumped up, the crowd going behind you, and basically showing your teammates you're willing to go a bit further and they need to step it up and get it done.

Can't friggin' stand the NBA. I used to watch when I was younger, when Jordan, Bird, and some of those guys were playing... but now, no way. I watch some college hoops.

I lost all respect for the Orange, especially after De Jong goes studs-out into Xabi Alonso's chest and then broke Ben-Arfa's leg in the EPL only a few months later...

As for the original post, I am just glad the SDSU men's team is playing again. We lost to Baylor but made up for it beating USC last night. Dreaming of another March Madness run...

Bunch of overpaid cry babies anyways.. ALl that really gets hurt is the fans. Cause when they do reah a deal, the owners will make the money up on the raised ticket prices and higher concession prices.

The National Bull**** Association won't be missed by me. If you want to watch basketball, watch the NCAA. If you want to see a load of crap with an orange ball bouncing around... NBA.

Though I do sympathize with the players who NEEDED the season to pay bills. Not everyone is Lebron James or Kobe Bryant.
