I didn't say this because I don't like <fill in the blank> I said it because it sounds like the guy is reaching rather hard to like something. Cigars aren't for everyone, sport.
Or maybe he's really interested in the hobby but wants to warm up with her a little for the first time before jumping in bed? :dunno:

I started out on acids and thoroughly enjoyed them. Not crazy for them now, but they hit the spot back then. More power to 'em!

ESV Conneticut, CAO Gold, Oliva Conneticut Reserve would be good options. Padron Naturals are pretty sweet to my tastes but are more medium in strength.

lots of people get started smoking acids. As much as I hate them....they are good because they help grow the industry

he might enjoy the cinnamon-ish flavors in an af sg. af cigars are a good doorway to other sticks if he's still interested.

The Baccarrat is an excellent choice. The Natural Dirt has a very nice aroma, with chocolate notes that he may enjoy. The Brun del Re Premium line is very nice, somewhat mild with a sweet smoke.

Some of the above posters had a great idea regading the shorter smokes, as well as some in a Cameroon wrapper. Cameroon wrapped cigars rock. Don Tomas makes a nice little Cameroon perfecto, similar in size to the Short Story, but not as pricey for the newbie.
