Based on what you mentioned you liked, I'm guessing you liked that they were a little sweet, with those dark earthy and cocoa flavors with a little pepper and spice notes.

I'd recommend you check out the following. Read several reviews on each and see what appeals to you.

Mid-price:
Nica Rustica ($4-6) - check cigarmonster.com at 8am and 8pm, they often pop up
Intemperance BA XXI ($5-7) -smallbatchcigar.com, use the coupon code leafenthusiast
Tatuaje 7th Reserva and J21 reserva ($7-8) - 7th is a little sweeter, j21 is a little more peppery - check around for various retailers
Tatuaje Regios Reserva ($8) - smallbatchcigar.com, use the coupon code leafenthusiast
Jericho Hill sampler ($7-8) smallbatchcigar.com with the code leafenthusiast (try the sampler box)

Cheapos:
EP Carillo maduro ($3-6) - Check cbid for smaller lots to try.
Ramon Bueso Genesis - these can often be had for $2-3 on cigarbid and cigarsinternational.com, and are a GREAT smoke for the price.

Hey Randy,

What comes to mind immediately, for me, is Padron. I always recommend this brand to explore. I find the natural wrapper to have some spice with a cocoa and earthy base, and I find the maduro to be sweeter with the same base.

I'd experiment with these in both wrapper types (natural and maduro). This will also give you an idea what ring guage size does to a blend.

Under $10:
Padron 3000
Padron Londres

Over $10
Padron 1964
