Bonham was good, but nobody was more important to their band. Peart's drumkit alone shows his amazing talent. The ridiculous amount of instruments he plays during any given song is truly amazing. IMHO

That's because you're a Rush fan. I don't disagree he is a great drummer but Bonham was insane though my personal favourite these days is Ahmir Thompson don't think there's a drummer smoother than him around.

Alex has a stack of amps behind him. Geddy does not, so he started putting the washer and dryers behind him kind of as a joke. Now someone usually comes out and pulls t-shirts out of the dryer and tosses them to the crowd.

Regarding Bonham vs. Peart....

Both Bonham and Peart can/could execute extremely complicated beats that many drummers won't touch. Listen to Bonham on The Ocean....Holy cow!

Both are awesome in their own right, IMHO.

Agreed! Bozzio was ahead of his time, stuck in a quirky, doomed group.
Don't get me wrong....I like Missing Persons, but they weren't built to last.
