I have a question to ask. Does anyone know if golfnut is real busy, or on vacation? I ordered some shelves for my winedor last week from him and haven't heard back. I will definitely be patient as I've read his awesomeness does take sometime, but am just curious.

Also, maybe I'm just lazy, but can I get away with not having fans installed in my Newair 281? If I have to I will, but I would rather not go through all the trouble. I have 2lbs of Heartfelts waiting to go in there.

I'm from Minot. Busy place, but I guess I like it that way!
You can say that again!!! I made the trek to Minot twice last year...had to book my room at the "world's largest Sleep Inn" about 3 months in advance. Made sure that I had dinner at least one night @ Sammy's pizza.

If I get a chance to make it up this summer I'll let you know and maybe we can get together for a smoke.

Hey, I go to Minneapolis quite a bit and when I do, I usually head downtown, buy a stick and head up to the roof top at Seven's, but this weeke they had it closed. They said they were closing it down until summer. It's pretty cool up there in the winter with the fire place and the tent up and they are super friendly there. Just thought you and others would like to know. The B&M down the street is pricey, but hey, a guys gotta do what a guys gotta do. Also, FYI, you can smoke on the roof at the Union, but those guys are less than friendly.

Ya, you bet. There is a nice B&M on north hill in Minot that has a lounge out back. They had a cigar lounge attached, but since the new smoking laws have passed, you have to go outside. Meh. My garage is heated and I have a Blueair purifier to keep the wife at ease, so it's not all bad in this frigid little place.

My two "go to" spots in the Cities are Tobacco Grove in Maple Grove and Burn in Burnsville. A bunch of the MN brothers are getting together on Saturday at Burn. I realize that it's way too long of a trip to come down just for that but if you happen to be in town you're more than welcome to join us.

I live down in Winona BTW so Minneapolis is 2 hours for me...Minot is more like 10

Yep, that's a jaunt. My son has state hockey championships this weekend, so I will be assisting on the bench there. I really appreciate the offer and maybe will have to seek you out next time I'm in town. Yeah, I think it's a tobacco grove downtown that's am thinking of, but can't remember. I bought an Onyx Reserve Lonsdale and smoked er up on the roof at the Union a couple nights ago. It was pretty nipply up there, but we didn't care. Some work comrades were there and we had a good visit over an enjoyable smoke and a couple drinks. Good stick. I'll have to seek some more of them out.
