I think I can post that photo now of my first practice humidor construction project:
Yep! And just in time, that "practice" humidor is out in my shop almost ready to go. I'll leave off the hinges for now, because my most recent order of Avo #3 Maduros have no where to go.
My wife wanted to know why I have to make humidors when there are so many fine ones available to buy. Maybe it's just me, but I like the site, the feel, the touch, the smell of a fine humidor as much as I like the contents. It's a total sensual experience. This way, I get to shape it to my hearts desire.
