javajunkie,
So far I've tried most of the selection from the big companies such as General and Altadis. Lately I've been trying to go out of my way to try smaller/boutique brands because I'm still learning how to pick out different flavors from sticks with the same wrapper and/or country of origin. I'm a really big fan of the Partagas 1845, which has replaced the Partagas Black as my favorite in that line. The Punch Rare Corojo is also a favorite as I think besides the various flavors I can detect in a maduro wrapper, the corojo wrapper is my favorite. That cigar in the 10th Anniversary blend was the one cigar that I actually had one of my first "aahhh haaaa..." moments. My local shop usually has a nice variety of Tatuaje products, so I've added the Cabaiguan and La Casita Criolla as staples in my humidor. I'm still experimenting with that brand as the ones I tried earlier in my smoking "career" came across as pepper bombs. I have come to enjoy fuller-bodied blends and have a few San Lotano's on hand, as well as Camacho Maduro's, and older Cojonu blends from '03, '06, '09 and the most recent releases that were gifted to me. Of course, I've accumulated a wide assortment of Don Pepin's blends with the black label being my favorite. I also have some Oliva V Maduro 2011's that are awesome, way too many Padilla blends from CI, and a few Perdomo products that always go down smooth. Other than that, just a few random sticks here and there. I try to buy 2-3 sticks at a time in order to give each a fair assesment, but I'm getting to the point where I think I may need to start writing things down.
