no problemo. they were commenting on the drac debacle and how they'd had started a phone in list and were then told they weren't going to do it. don't think they want something like that to happen again.

I definitely understand the employees getting annoyed as it might not be their decision on how to sell certain limited cigars anyway, but the owner has to expect people calling in if they are doing a limited release. Even if they want to keep it local, no reason to take it out on people calling.

2000 cigars. One time production made for the event. This cigar will not be made again. No bands. Didn't have time to make one. If you notice, the size is a size I don't make already and the blend is similar to the Verocu east but with a wrapper that we had very little of from last years crop from one of Jaime and Pepins farms.

Boxes are not being painted (plain wood) and ring gauge was a request from Outlaw. 6x52

I am guessing that Outlaw wants to hold them first for the event and then maybe sell them to callers after......

Thanks for the details !! I'd like to try one of these to see how much the wrapper changes things.

Hmm, how much is a plane ticket to Outlaw? I gotta get my hands on at least 1 or 2 of these. I know I said I didn't want to go nuts, but the East Coast Verocu was/is my favorite Tatuaje next to the Frank.

I like tat's but this is "select" release thing really makes me upset. I can see releasing a limited run on a blend but when only a handful of shops get a blend I personally feel it's a sham on the customers.
A Sham? I love limited releases and the communication of the BOTL. Stick around newbie - you are now in the "KNOW". Worse case a BOTL with hook you up with a 5er at MSRP if not better.
