Keeps traffic moving well for most intersections. Also less T-bone (deadly) type accidents as well. I prefer these 1000% better than any 4 way stop.

These are everywhere in Cozumel where my vacation house is. Every major intersection. If you think they are bad here try going through on in Mexico where you have 2 scooters on either side of your car like 6 inches away lol. They take some getting used to but once you do no bigge. I have yet to see an accident at one.

Well, i kinda like em.

I'd much rather go round a roundabout than sit at a friggin stop light or 4 way stop sign where everybody has to guess who's going next because people forget what you learned in driver's ed...first come first serve, if it's a tie, the person to the right or general courtesy.

Of course, i've never driven in one during rush hour or in England.

It'll be a while before i see one in my town though. We've already got a stop light and 2 stop signs.

Ha! Love the small town life.
