I was never a big Oliva fan but have found solace in the Oliva V's and when the Master Blend came out I liked them...but not enough to buy a box. The MB isn't a cigar that really responds to "resting" as they smoke the same from 2 weeks to 3 months...after that they tend to lose their balance overall.
I have a 5er resting. May as well pull one out and give it a try. Thanks for the heads up.

I have been trying to get through all of my dog turds so that when the warm temps arrive I can smoke better sticks. It just seems wrong to smoke a decent stick in the garage with 2 heaters going. They are some $1.50 sticks from JRs that I bought last fall.

Stupid newb :wtf:
I totally get it!

Actually - I am trying my best to just not smoke vs smoking dog turds anymore. And life is helping in that I just don't have the time to smoke as much as I used to - and with it being so bloody cold... But back in the day I was caught in a vicious cycle. The more I smoked, the more I want to smoke. Which saw me buy turds to keep costs down in any season. This winter I have hardly smoked a thing.

We'll see what happens this summer lol. I am sure I'll be buying turds by fall :).

I think eventually you find a balance between quality and quantity when it comes to satisfaction, there are some good cigars that can be had at the 2-3$ range if you're patient watch sales and cbid that I would describe as an everyday cigar but by no means a dog rocket

I'm with you on this one. I was not impressed with the MB3 at all, I tossed it halfway through for a V lancero.

Now, I was just bombed a MB2 that I'm looking forward to trying in a few weeks after it re acclimates from the cross country trip.

Send a pic of that MB2 sometime. I don't think I've ever seen one.
