Opus X Prices

Did the prices go thru the roof this year, or is this straight up gouging?

Last year I bought some from one of my locals and non of them were over $20.

Thats my local B&M. Thats probably their in store price with state taxes included. Usually their site doesn't include the the taxes in price. Just my guess anyways. F you NYS

Christ, that's some serious gouging. I live in NY and taxes here drive the price up a lot, but those are high even by NY standards!

$10/$13 in S.C. but its just the run of the mill Opus nobody around here has the biz or nutz to get the uber exotic ones.

FWIW, KY taxes don't suck, and i am blessed with honest B&Ms, so there's that. then again, that can't all be NY tax. my guess, they just threw them up because they have an online site, people are used to dropping a bill or two on a pipe, and might go "WTF, might as well add an opus.". the badge will do that to some folks (and not just the opus badge).

I work in Louisville, but live in Jeffersonville, IN. One of the B&Ms here sells them at honest prices. Where do you shop at the top of Kentucky?

I know NJ taxes are high, but there is no way NY taxes are $10 a stick higher. Look around, I'm sure you can find better prices than that.

Seems high. I'm in California and I payed $15.15 for a perfection #5 yesterday. California has stupid taxes!

Just wrong. I get my Opus for MSRP.

Not a single opus is under 20 here, 86% cigar tax. I hate all you that say you get them for 15.

In my humble experience, OPUS & Anejo are always gouged online and much better off purchased in store. Not sure why but that always seems to be what I see - MSRP in store, double that online. Just my two cents.

Excluding Lost City's, the most I've paid per stick from the BM was $17-$18 for a double corona

I can get the 3 pack opus x tins for $45 Robusto $47 for presidente and $49 for the casa da fuente sorry if I'm wrong on spellings if you guys want them I'll go get them and send them to you.
