The robustos in the tin are not rare. However, $45 is a great price. In california i have seen those rocked upwards of like $65-$70.

Yeah there's nothing great about them at all its all they offer in this bunghole town tho. And 15 a stick and both b&m have boxes of singles $11 and $13 ones a Robusto and other is a petite corona size nothing special. I don't get what's rare about any of them and they not all that really. I got two boxes each hid deep in the cabinet sleeping I will check in a year or two.

Emerson's, one of the sponsors here has them at MSRP. They sometimes have more than what they list on their site, (call) and shipping is free if you order over a certain amount. You have to start calling around when they come in, usually in late April, and then in December. If you know when your B&M got theirs, then usually everyone else has them at the same time. I'm lucky, I have two B&M on my way home from the office that both have Opus accounts, and (when they're in stock) I can get them at around MSRP. Online places that upcharge them are charging a lot because they can. These guys usually have them in stock all the time as well...Call Tampa Sweethearts. I called there a couple of weeks ago to get some Opus, and talked to the man himself! Mr. Fuente. The way opus works is weird. Certain B&M's have an Opus account. If you have an Opus account, then Fuente just sends them 2 to 4 times a year, and you get what you get. Bigger stores get more, smaller stores get less. They have no control over which Vitolas they get. Sometimes they get power rangers, sometimes not, and the same with other shapes. The standard shapes that ship most of the time seem to be robustos, super bellies, double coronas, 4s, 5s, and perfection X, at least from what I've seen. Some shops limit you to a certain number of sticks, others have no limit, but almost none will sell whole boxes. The best way to get Opus is to be a regular at a B&M with an Opus account, and be a good customer that they like. I love Opus and have not found them impossible to acquire, but it does require a little bit of effort to get as many as you'd like.
