This is your best bet. I got mine from Ron, it is great. The fans from Ron cost more, but are worth it. It plugs in, and has a timer.Ron also has fans with timers.
That's a pretty good idea!I just picked up a used cpu fan (approx. 3x3) today from CDO for $1 and a used wall adapter for $2. Both in great shape and came with a one month guarantee (not a big deal for such a small investment but whos complaining).
I will hard wire the fan to the wall adapter then plug it in to a lamp timer. I have plenty of those at home. I have one that can be set in 10 or 15 minute increments so Ill probably set it to run for 10 or 15 min every hour. Ill check it when I get home and post a picture when I rig it up.
I thought so. I couldn't find the oust fans and didn't want to have to keep changing batteries anyway so I thought this should do the trick. The cpu fan takes up a lot less room too. You can also get a 2"x2"x1/2" which is nice and small for a desktop if you wanted. That's a pretty good idea!
I probably won't get to it until this weekend but I'll post as soon as I do.i'm looking forward to seeing pics of this setup when you get them up! im looking to set up something similar...
