I have no idea how anyone could call these cigars morning sticks as they were all chalked full of black pepper spice to the point that if I didn't have a drink with every puff my mouth started to get almost raw.
He wasn't talking about fresh ones. He was referring to the ones he had from 97-99 which at this point I doubt have a whole lot of pepper. But yea some people do smoke strong cigars with their breakfast also. Different strokes...
I feel the 1000 blend ages the best. Currently working on some nat and mad 3000 from 2000 that I really enjoy. The nice thing about this blend is the very reasonable cost.
Agreed, they are very kind on the wallet. As for the aging, I've started to age some on a few occasions, but they seem to disappear...damn cigar leprechauns :sarcastic.
While everyone has different tastes and likes (and dislikes), and no one is right or wrong, I personally believe that the Padron 1964 Exclusivo Maduro and the 45th Maduro are 2 of the consistently best cigars ever produced...
