Padron?

6x60?

I WILL GIVE YOU MY KIDNEY FOR ONE OF THESE CIGARS!!

I just LOVE 60 RG cigars.. They're my sweet spot. I understand the arguments against them, but I smoke what I like, and I like the big'uns... And by Padron? God I need to find one of these now!

I will pass on this but am still waiting for something like 6x42 or 6.5x42 in the 1926 maddy blend... this just doesn't sound very much fun to puff on.

Interesting. How many want to bet these will sell for double of the MSRP and will be hard to get your hands on for the first three to four months?

60 RG sucks ass. They should be outlawed.
Agreed Mike. Instead of Padron putting out 54 and 60 rg cigars they've put out lately, I wish that they would work on lancero format. I know that the group of us that went to dinner with Jorge last year kept trying to plant that bug in his ear.

Sorry Gang, i hope you don't mind if i jump in here...Starbuck..I can assure you, something like charging double MSRP is NEVER a tactic we would ever do. The retail of $18.50 is a very reasonable price when you stack it up to the Imperial MSRP and for the amount of tobacco in this stick.

That being said...The cigars will be available until they run out. less than 500 boxes TOTAL (Natural&Maduro) were made. Pre-orders are avaible currently. The product will be released April 15th and pre orders will ship the 18th.

As far as big ring gauges go ladies & gents, I make my living by selling what consumers want. A popular trend for a long time has been large ring gauge cigars. While the national calling may not be tremendous, there is definitely a large niche market for these cigars. Especially when you are looking at something in a small run for a highly demanded brand.

When I first approached Jorge & Jose Padron about this project, i wanted to make something that would definitely stand out as something new. Being a smoker of both their Natural & Maduro Anniversary Series, i had a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Moment and wanted to put two Great tastes together. As if I didn't see it coming, Mr. Jose Padron almost fell off his chair when i mentioned the thought of a Maduro AND Natural Anniversary cigar..a barber pole! That idea wasn't flying at all. So the next thought that came to mind, How about MORE of what I already like. Jorge welcomed the challenge of a 6x60 Anniversary cigar.

The cigar is a chimney of a smoke..DO NOT SMOKE IN POORLY VENTILATED AREAS!

At the end of the day, this cigar will bring joy to many folks out there who will appreciate it. Being a retailer,....that's all I could hope to do.

Keep it straight gents, and remember...

Be Merciless.....

I would love to try all the Padrons, Still don't know about these. A bit pricy, not saying you over priced or anything. But I don't spend over $10.00 a cigar, I stick around the $5.00 range.

Padron is definitely my favorite company. Would need a nice long RedSox game to sit back and enjoy this thing to. Hopefully i will be able to try one some day. :)

Are we surprised that Padron has impeccable construction here? lol

I'll pass since I'm not partial to the LGs, but I'm sure it's a great smoke in its own right.

No need to apologize... I'm sure they'll all sell, but none will go to me, haha. I think they all would've sold out if they were robustos or lonsdales, or churchill. Padron basically never does one offs, its just disappointing to many people that don't like that big of a rg.

I am down for trying both of these. I have yet to be let down by a Padron stick and as far as size, I am on the opposite end of the spectrum, I am not a fan of Lancero's and while a 60 gauge is huge, it's not a real stretch from a 52 or 54.

Heck, the other day I was thumbing through a cigar magazine and saw a 66 RG. Now that's a jaw breaker.
