I, uh, know this guy who just got a box or two of the Partagas Culebras today(overnighted from Europe! kickass!).
He says they look fantastic and that it's worth buying a box or two. Great conversation piece if not anything else.

damn...I've never even seen a culebras (outside of MRN and pictures)...I'll bet these things are incredible!

P.S.---I'm a big fan of smoking it with buddies, I just really like the idea of that!

I was checking out a site that had pictures of the Hemingway Aging room. These found deep in the back or so the caption said. I want 2 of em, 1 to smoke and one to keep...forever. Thats a cool smoke:crosseyed

As much as these cigars are a novelty item, they are a SUPERB smoke.

This is one of the first cigars I have scored over 95 points. Everything was amazing- the draw was perfect, the burn was even, the taste was mind blowing. A phenomenal smoke.

PS- The boxes come as 3 culebras, all in coffins. Each culebra is intended to be broken into 3 cigars which are smoked separately. (hence, their availability as boxes of 9). Interestingly comfortable to hold, although the shape when you are smoking it is pretty odd.

I now have one of the Partagas sitting in the back of the Humi, Thanks to my Secret Santa. I take it out once a week to look at it, but don't know when I'll be smoking it. It is deffinetly the crown jewel of mu humidor.
