either has their good points. I like 'em both ways. Although, if I had the patience, I'd pick aged if I had to pick one.

Thanks. Looks good, never tried one young or old.... review looks good, maybe I will try and pick on up one day.
Smurf,

Sorry, I thought you were bustin balls. Just like Ferris Bueller says: "It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up"

I have a full box that I'm trying to let sit for at least a couple years. I might try one to see if I like them young...but IN GENERAL any habano tastes better with at least a few years on it, IMO. I've had Shorts with 2 years plus on them and they are the best small cigar I've had to date. I've had other Partagas vitolas young and they didn't taste even close to as good as their aged bretheren.

I would have to say aged

Sorry, there is a guy on another board that when anyone posts something about Party Shorts he throws this out.

I've only had fresh shorts, it they got any better I'd be in heaven. Party Shorts are a GO TO smoke, quick and always tasty.

I think I've got one left Smurf, If I do it's yours, just PM me your addy.

Depending on what 'old' is. If it's 2003 or older I'd say get those. You can always find fresh Party Shorts so I always say get the older box if you can.

I am fortunate enough to have a VERY RARE cabinet of 1996 Partagas Shorts, EMS, 12 years old now! I have smoked a chunk of the cab, and I think they are excellent, of course better than a "new" short (and new ones are pretty good and dependable IMHO). The vintage ones are just more complex and subtle, but still phenomenal flavors.
