Your thread was edited because it is not a bug in the software. It has been programed to do that. When you bypassed the filter by adding spaces, you were essentially placing their name on this site...which we want nothing to do with.

All legitimate questions and I am not saying the above to be a dick. You asked a question and that is the answer to why it was edited.

As it has been stated in the other thread, they went as far as to freeze accounts of people on this site...including one that had a whole hell of a lot of donations in it. One of the requirements that they insisted on was to remove every reference to their company from this site before they would reactivate the accounts. Instead of Eric and myself wading through numerous posts to edit them, we added the term to the filter so the software would take care of the job for us.

As previously stated, it is against their agreement policy to buy tobacco. They were not pulling anything out of their ass. It is right there in black in white on their page.

Now, how they came across the problem here when there are numerous other sites where members advertise their sale and use their name for payment, we will never know.
Great explanation, thank you. It did try searching the forums prior to posting the question (why no name used) and could not come up with anything. Knew it had to be serious I will refrain from use of name and transactions. Thanks Dave.

No worries. I wasn't upset. At that point I could see there was substantial effort going into eliminating them. Your explanation pretty much says it all. We're cool.

Stormpay is currently under investigation by the FBI, FTC, BBB and Attn Generals office in Georgia, Tennessee and Utah. Best to steer very clear of this shady company.
Good to know... I was not listing them as a suggestion but just merely stating them as another company that is out there. I have sent money with them before, but would never put my bank account information into a site that looks like it was made 8 years ago. Gotta love the 1-use credit card numbers ;)
