This is my best hunting buddy old Jack, named after the holy trinity (Jack Ryan, Jack Reacher, and Jack Bauer), sticking a bird for me on a trip to Montana last year. Most days it's just me, Jack, cigar, and an old shotgun on an easy walk looking for birds.

New guy the wife made me get. Wally the obnoxious attention whore. Half beagle half jack russell. So far not a fan. I just don't like small dogs. But this one is going to by my wife's little baby so I guess I'll teach it to like cigars....that will piss her off. :cigar:

For some reason I don't see a picture. Beagles are great dogs, brother. JR's are another story. They're great companions if you have the patience with them. Good luck.

Oh I know how beagles can be. Our other dogs are a lab and coonhound. Coon hound was stubborn as hell but a great dog now that we have him trained. I know I can train themail little one, I just don't like him lol. Just a big dog person.

The three of them together.

This was my smoking buddy. We lost her last fall after over 14 years and 9 months. She was a great dog and companion. I really miss not having her around.

Once we get settled in Denver I will have another smoking buddy to spend time with. I can almost guarantee that we will get another Lab.

I can't imagine losing my lab. Such great dogs. Loyal to a fault. My wife calls mine "my shadow". Never leaves my side and waits like a watch dog for me to come home just to sit next to me in the chair after work.
