Oh absolutely. I'm curious, if this was an accidental or intentional mix, since breeders have been cross breeding many different breeds over past decade or so.

I'll have to snap a picture of my devil dog puppy if he'll ever sit still and pose for camera. I have pictures of him first few weeks after we took him home. Now he's becoming a big monster LOL.

Unfortunately I can relate, the photo must hide it well. It’s a constant battle. Thinking of getting a leather sofa to be able to vacuum the hair up easier. I’m always trying to give them away.
I have no idea how big he will get. He’s is only 6 weeks old right now. I’ll post a pic below of him with a ball to give you an idea how big he is.
Was not intentional. The lady I got him from adopted the Dane from a friend of hers. The friend is a Bassett breeder and had a stud over doing his thing. The stud worked a little OT that weekend. They didn’t know she was knocked up.
That's crazy how things happened. He looks at least 8-10 weeks old I can't believe this is him at 6 weeks!!
Her FB page had pics of when they were born but I asked her if she was sure. Lol. Born Jan 16th. There were 11 pups total. I got lucky. The original person backed out and I was next in line. Wife and I drove a 3 hour round trip last night to get him.
Oops. Jan 16th makes him 7 weeks.

Today is Sawyers 2nd birthday. We are starting off today's celebration with a healthy dose of playing ball, chasing the squirrels away from the bird feeder and moving compost into the garden.

He is so adorable!!! And getting so big so fast!!! My boy is at 41.3 pounds as of last Friday night. He's just shy of 5 months old. I'm telling people were taking bets because we think he might be super close to 100 pounds if he's already so big.Here he is at 10wks. 22lb now.
Hes a chick magnet for sure. Ill rent him out to you single fellas if you need some help. He is getting big quick. Thankfully his weight seems to be on track with his size.
Mine is too. I told my brother he better come take the dog out to the breweries and sit back, have a beer and let the dog use his chick magnet powers to get the girls to him.
