Well, I bought my first jars tonight. I bought eight 8oz jars. Then I put 1.5 ounces of Sir Walter Raleigh in one, and even with two bowls worth missing, it barely fit. So, how big of a jar do you need for the average tin?

To be honest I just needed some jars and bought the first few I saw at Target. I guess they aren't the best shape, because they don't stack and you have to chase the baccy in the corners? They have still worked ok so far for me.

I just kinda put my finger in and pressed the baccy into the corners, filled in the gap in the middle and pressed it all down till I could get the lid on.

My jar of choice is the Kerr wide mouth pint jar. Cheap, stackable, and easily procured at wally world. Easily fits any tin of baccy
