Aight. Not sure what I'll blow my ducats on. I know I don't like the Nica-rolled stuff, i'm not a fan of barberpole.... might just go for their straight Social Club stuff and try some of their flavored Big Easies or something.... I guess there's a new "cigar lounge" in NOLA since last year, too...Nah it was all normal box split stuff

I'm intrigued. Give us a bit more info.Hey dudes, here's a way OT photo. One or two of you have noticed that I enjoy stringing words together. This morning I just finished the first draft of my new novel. 120,000 word thingies, 405 pages.
A goban is the game board upon which is played the oldest game in the world, "Go." My novel is about a love affair between a man and a woman who play this game.I'm intrigued. Give us a bit more info.
Okay, yeah, that's what I thought. Is it a "proper" 46, meaning 44 diameter? And how long? The guy on here made it for me, is it Keith? Works very wellView attachment 120027
Thanks. Yeah, it's a great size. The wrapped Cigars come out at exactly 46 so i guess the answer is yes, its 7"
Nice job.Last week's blends.
Had a buddy come over and decide on the blend. We ran out of viso and had to change it, so I decided to play with the wrappers.
He hits his one year probation the end of next month. We're going to sit on them until then and smoke them to see how they are.
Btw, I got a 52rg mold in.
And? What do you think? One of the first with the new mold. Rolled 8/23/18.
CV Dominican seco
Habano viso
CV Criollo ligero
Corojo Oscuro binder
EC maduro wrapper
Its all from WLT.
It's good. Very little pepper, I'd prefer a touch more. Just a little bit of some kind of wood (oak maybe?). I can get some sweetness, but it's very faint (I have to concentrate very hard to taste the sweetness). There is an overpowering, cloying bitterness to it tho. It's not chemical like ammonia. Like a bitter/sour candy kind of taste. I have the same blend with the Corojo Oscuro Wrapper in place of the maduro. It'll be tomorrow's first smoke. I'm gonna let it sit for some time and see how it develops. And? What do you think?

The smoke output is decent. It's burning well. The mouthfeel of the smoke is good. It coats my palate, just with the bitter/sour flavor.
Overall, I'm on the fence. I was hoping for more tobacco, leather, and pepper. Well see how a month or so age does.
It sat out until the day before yesterday. Ambient rh in my rolling room is 50ish%. Went in the wineador. I probably rushed smoking it. Oh well. I'm exhausted from work this past week and getting like 4 hours of sleep last night. I didn't want to smoke a premium stick. I plan on rolling for most of the day tomorrow. I got some binders and wrappers pereping now for tomorrow's shenanigans. Figured I'd sample one of my own for some inspiration.Hopefully is just still to wet.
