My Web #6. Same blend as #5, except this one has an Indonesian wrapper. Flavor so far, not so bad. I think I prefer the Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper version just a touch more….After finishing, I didn’t hate if. That Corojo wrapper wins in this mash up!

Month half over and I'm still hunting for a September blend worth stashing. I think the Nic was not playing well with the criollo... made it murky. So here's a new version:

164912

Eliminated the Nic cause I thought that leaf didn't play well... made it taste murky. So here I have

1 1/2 T-13
1 1/2 criollo viso
bound with the criollo wrapper
wrapped in Olor

Damn nice smoke. Very flavorful, very aromatic, fine retrohale, good with a meaty dry red wine, wonderful morning mouth. I think it's a keeper.
May have to roll a couple batches of ten to complete a stash before the month is out.

Round 2

Web #1
About a 60rng

Date: 7/30/21
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Corojo
Binder: Ecuadorian Viso
Filler: 1x Pelo D’Oro Seco
1x Piloto Cubano Viso
1x Pelo D’Oro Ligero
1x Dominican CV Seco

Taste was fantastic. Draw was wonky and all over. Will need to roll in a smaller ring gauge, I think it would be pretty good then. My horrible roll did not do this blend justice for sure. Will need to roll more up as the flavors kept me wanting it to not keep getting messed up with the construction.

*Afterthought… both the Web #1 & #10 today… in fact all the leaf I’ve blended together from Web does not give me “wooly teeth”. Perhaps certain leaf or less of Ligero?

Some more of the R.O’B Especiale blend wrapped up.

Wrapper: WLT Brazil CT 2013
Binder: LO CT 2LS
Filler: WLT Nic Condega Seco 2014
WLT T-13 Viso
WLT Black Ligero

I’m going to need to change this blend up soon, due to leaf availability. Lol.

In the conditioning cooler overnight are fantastic to work with the next day. Perhaps sacrilege, but I put the Candela over the Brazil CT Shade 2013 on the R.O’B and it made it a pleasant variation.

Decent cream and some spice to it. No “wooly teeth” while smoking. Last 1” amped up a significant amount of spice. This one is a contender for sure out of the 10 stick try outs.
