Esta manana me voiy a chispear una Gafas:


I rolled a batch of these November 2021, so they ought to be ripe now. I've no recollection why I named them Gafas (goggles), but I hope to find out. I leaf each of Piloto viso, seco, and ligero, bound and wrapped in Cameroon.

Another nice little imperfecto with Dominican Seco Piloto filler and the binder from the Ecuadorian grown Habano 2000 Viso I have been using so much of lately. A nice little smoke.

Per the label, it's 1 Corojo Seco, 2 Corojo Visos, and 0.5 Corojo Ligero, bound with Nicaraguan Habano Seco and wrapped in Criollo.
I haven’t eaten so it may be a doozy! Pairing it with ice water and woodwork.

Thanks. The big one on the left, the wrapper leaf actually tore while i was rolling so its not as pretty. The little guys i really didnt care how they looked. Those are nice to have when its summertime in AZ

Hard to pair a gar with woodwork. The aromas get confused.

That nubber's the redoubtable Alma. I feel like I should set on down and smoke 'em all up.

I had scored some Mata Fina binder which turned out to be entirely unsuited to binding... nowhere nearly strong enough nor sufficiently intact, IIRC. So I cut out the stems and used 1 leaf of this Mata, with a Condega seco leaf and a Piloto viso leaf. These three were the filler

I scored wide-ass leaves of Olor wrapper. So I cut a strip from the outer edge for wrapping. Then I used the inner portion, closer to the stem, which was left after cutting the wrapper strip, as my binder.

Then the outer Olor strip made my wrapper.

A couple PA Broadleaf puros from the plant I grew last year. Not the prettiest but there was a lot of hard work that went into these and growing my first plant. The bottom one doesn’t look half bad. Gonna let them sit a few months I think.

Put a couple together last night getting ready for night shift. Put the wrapper on two today.

These are simply Dominican crillo seco, Nicaraguan habano ligero, bound in Nicaraguan habano seco, wrapped in Ecuadorian CT shade leaf.

Turning that top stick to ash today, thought I'd see how a porter paired up.
Pretty smooth!
