Sasha, I am sorry to hear of this. I use to work in Radiology for years so I have had to help perfom test on patients going thru this. I do know this will be tough but I hope all will be well. You and her are in my prayers.

Sascha,

I am praying that God would bring healing to your loved one as well as that He would fill you with His peace as you stand beside her. As was stated by one of the other brothers, I am a phone call away if you need to vent, someone to pray with or to simply listen.

Allow these words to comfort you... God allows special people to go through special things as God forknew that she would go through this and that you would be the physical rock that she'll need to lean on.

Be strong and be encouraged. You are not alone.

Hi Sascha,

I am very sorry to hear this about Jill. I understand the pain that the both of you are going through. Both my kids have Crohn's Disease and know that when they suffer, we suffer as well.

My thoughts and prayers are with the both of you.

Good luck,

Jeff

Sascha prayers go out to you and Jill. Following is a poem we have in our house that reminds you that you’re never alone especially during the tough times.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during
the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one
set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most,
you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have
seen only one set of footprints in the sand,
is when I carried you."
Mary Stevenson

Best Wishes,
Rick

a little update

she's doing pretty good, still a little weak, but her organs started to work as they should and she is getting liquids now.
she is getting used to the ostomy bag right now, she hates it, but at least she knows it's only gonna be for a short while until everything heals.
in 3 months they do another surgery and hook her back up "inside" and she can start a new life without pain and medication.

thank you guys for all your prayers and the support.
