I'll start with the statement that if this is your (and by that I mean anyone) first transaction with Tim, who is Podman, then yes I could surely see your frustration.

But.

Tim is a member of BOTL.org, a busy one, but a member nonetheless. As a brother on this forum, I think it's common knowledge if you've been around a little that you have to have some patience with orders placed with Tim. It would be one thing if Tim sold the exact same thing as every other site at the same price. But that's not the case, with our BOTL discount, Tim is many times for me at least, the absolute lowest priced vendor, when it comes to what he carries. Top that off with shipping that's free with orders over $50 and he's a tough deal to beat. I'm not trying to make excuses for him, but as a courtesy to one of our brothers, I think Tim needs some slack cut sometimes.

At the end of the day, we all have the choice to spend our money where we'd like. If Tim's model for the way he does business rubs you the wrong way, I'd simply say move along to another vendor. Not trying to come across as a douche, just trying to let some if the newer members know when ordering with Tim, have some patience.

I absolutely agree with everything you say 100%. Tim IS a BROTHER. He was a brother before he was a vendor. He didn't join this forum to hawk his goods. He is a brother who ventured out into having his own site. Because of Tim and other great people we have the great BOTL cigars.

Fwiw if you have had a bad experience and are changing your paths on ordering...try Atlantic, Federal or Emerson's. All three are super solid retailers associated with botl, our members either work for them or the owners themselves are members here and participate a good amount, carry a lot of great htf and one off cigars and top notch shipping / customer service. I am honestly not familiar with the other retailers and they may have the same reputation but have done several transactions with these three and never had a complaint. I have not ordered from Tim since he left burning leaf so cannot comment on what I don't know but hope my post helps people with future purchases.

I love our BOTL sponsors, and exhaust them first before moving to other retailers.
I avoid saying anything negative against any Brother here

I'm gonna say one last thing. It seems like there are a lot of excuses being made. One brother who knows him personally said he would have Tim call me but that never happened.. I honestly think someone else who is capable of handling orders should be the official site sponsor and sell the BOTL cigars. It's a shame imo that he gets to sell them rather than another vendor who cares about their customers and doesn't take them for granted. Just my $0.02.
