Nice set-up David, here's a pic of a table that's plans were in WoodSmith several years ago. When playing 5/7 card stud/draw games I like these tables.
My bud at work only plays Texas Hold 'em. His table is 6' x 2' with 1/4" foam padding covered in some fabric suede cloth (not recomended, cards don't slide well) with a stuffed Pleather border about 4" wide. It's a pretty good table for Texas style but takes up alot of room. No drink holders either.

I have a home game every Monday and host numerous tourneys during the year. I really got into collecting Paulson Chips (the real casino chips) from casinos that have closed down and are no longer in business. They liquidate the entire inventory and I usually get enough for a nice set of chips for cash game and tourney purposes.

Here is my table that we normally use each week:

These are Paulson "Starburst" Chips which have no denominations and are used strictly for tournament play. These chips aren't cheap, but are worth it to me to have the real thing. I just can't stand playing with those 11.5 gram chips...argh!

Here is my 2nd table which I use if we have a larger tourney and need two tables. The top flips over and is used as a regular table when not in use. It also has bumper pool below.

This is my pride & joy Paulson Chip Set. These are chips from the closed New Sonny's Casino in Federal Way, Washington. I use to have a lot more then this, but I have sold some off. This set is used for our cash games here...beautiful chips & lots of fun!

How does one go about getting their hands on chips like those??
They're not particularly hard to find, but they are quite expensive. I would say an average price per chip would be about $1.25 or so. But, for instance, the $25 New Sonny's Casino Chips are very limited and run $10 each in the secondary market. It just depends on your taste(s) and how much you're willing to spend.

Go to eBay and type in "paulson" and sort by "highest prices first". You'll see all the large sets and hard to find chips, they're all very beautiful. If you want some suggestions, PM me and I'll give you my opinions.
