The real stuff, first run is. I think to be sold legally it has to be 100 proof or less in a few states.
Interesting. There are plenty of Bourbons that are over 100 proof that are perfectly legal. I know some states, mine included, do not allow absolute alcohol (200 proof) though.

I want some of that Junior Johnsons aged with fruit. Holy crap my mouth is watering. To bad Oklahoma is not one of the states it ships to. Anyone want to help a brother out? Will pay for bottle and then send sticks if need be.

The boss at another pharmacy I used to work at used to give each of us a jar of local 'shine with a sliced peach in it (and a 50 dollar bill taped to the outside) for Christmas every year, and I can tell you right now, those peach slices are the tastiest way to get trashed really quickly that I have ever experienced. Drunk peach moonshine Christmas... ah... fond memories.

It's not made of moonshine, but we call that whoop juice down here. Put in a high proof liquor, cut up your fruit of choice (strawberries, apples, peaches, etc.) and let it sit for half a day to meld. The fruit will mess you up and the liquor is great.

Yeah funny story about that. When one of my buddies was telling us about that. "You're a real man if you can eat the peach", he used to say. Well one of our friends was talking shit saying he could eat it no problem, then I had to explain to him you drink the whole jar first. He was a little more understanding afterwards.

Yeah I have always wanted some Shine with fruit.

A good brother out of Tenn. helped me track down a couple jars and it's definitely worth trying out. It seemed a bit stronger than the other shines I've tried(only 2 not sold in stores) but was nice and smooth. So far it's only being distributed in Tenn, but will be making it to other states later on in the year.

My local liquor store has a pretty big supply of the Junior Johnson's soaked cherries and the apple pie I believe. I would be more than glad to help you get a few jars, just let me know how many you want and what kind. :bottle:

I thought our cap was 5.2% ?

I usually get up to Memphis once every other year and this year is the year. I will try to get some of the White Whiskey then.

Anyone know a cost on it??

We get the real apple pie around here in these parts. I have two jars of the stuff you can get from the legal still in Gatlinburg. Sutton is a legend around these parts. Now whats down stairs is not the real shine but it's around too.
