I got a box of these in the Corona Maduro from '07.
Great cigar for the money... tasty little guys.

I just smoked one from '04, you know for research purposes, and it is well ahead of the ones I have from '07. More refined, subtle, toasted tobacco, and not as harsh.

I smoked an '07 PLPC yesterday for my birthday, and it was fantastic. If your "friend in Columbus" ends up with some '07 PLPCs and finds them disgusting, I'd be happy to help dispose of them.
